This is a Level 2 Core Module in our Christian Education Track. 

Ever wondered — if we're all going to Heaven, why does it matter how we live on earth?

Salvation is only the beginning! In this module, learn how to run the Christian race with purpose towards the prize that awaits at the finish line. 

Be inspired to live your Christian life to the fullest. Discover the joy of growing in spiritual maturity, developing Christlike character and finishing strong in the race God has set before you.

It is strongly recommended that you first complete the Level 1 Core Module - Faith Essentials 1 - before embarking on this module. 

Lesson Schedule

There are 4 lessons in this module. All lessons will be held in-person during Bible Studies Weekend on the 13 & 14 September 2025.

Why We Charge for Courses

At HOGC, money will never be an obstacle for anyone hungry for God’s Word. If you need financial assistance, we’ll be happy to subsidise or waive your fees - just email [email protected] or talk to your leader.

So why do we charge?

  1. Value
    When we invest financially, we treasure God’s Word more deeply. Of course, we can never put a dollar amount on God’s Word, but paying is a way we express how precious it is to us.

  2. Commitment
    A small fee helps us take the course seriously and complete it. There must be a commitment to complete.  It is good character to finish what we started. 

  3. Sustainability
    Every dollar goes back into resourcing our Content & IT teams, so more Bible studies can continue to be created.


Hebrews 4:12 (The Message) 
God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.

We provide subsidised rates for youths and younger students to make it easy to start strong in God’s Word, while adults contribute at the full fee to keep new courses and resources going. Together, we’re growing deep in God’s Word.

Module Fees

In HOGC, we want to be people who treasure and value the opportunity to grow in our walk with God. This is why there are fees for this module. When we pay for something, we treasure and value it.

The fee structure is put in place so that we will take the module seriously, complete it and ultimately grow in our spiritual walk.
