Introduction

In Heart of God Church, we believe in looking out for every aspect of our members' lives. Beyond the spiritual aspects, this includes our member's practical needs such as personal development, relationships and emotional and mental well-being.

Part of the Heart of God Church Life Skills development track, the "Healthy Habits" module empowers participants to overcome unwanted habitual patterns of behaviour and develop new healthy and desirable habits.

These modules are co-funded by Heart of God Church in partnership with Dr. Robi Sonderegger and other professionals. You can be assured that the strategies are backed by science and also Scripture. 

About the Module

Whether the goal is to overcome unwanted habits or sustainably develop new ones, the strategies presented in this program are based on clinical, behavioural and neuroscientific research and underpinned by a Christian worldview.

This module is designed to help you:

  • Understand the nature of behaviour patterns (how habits are developed, maintained and changed)
  • Overcome unwanted habits and establish a relapse prevention plan
  • Develop and implement strategies for behavioural success

Module Outline

There will be  7 video lessons. Along with these videos, there are also accompanying worksheets for each lesson that you can complete. These lessons will be available to you for 12 months upon sign up.
